Profesor Ayudante Doctor en el Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Gestión Forestal Sostenible (iuFOR) de la Universidad de Valladolid, donde combina docencia e investigación en inventario forestal, modelización de masas forestales y gestión forestal.
Sus líneas de trabajo se centran en la aplicación de tecnologías avanzadas (LiDAR, UAV, análisis espacial) para la mejora de la gestión forestal sostenible y el desarrollo de herramientas de apoyo a la toma de decisiones.

Stand structural effects on growth distribution and growth efficiency in Scots pine and Mediterranean pine in Spain
We analyzed two sets of plots from even-aged stands of common coniferous species in central Spain, 106 pure Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) and 92 pure Mediterranean pine (Pinus pinaster), to examine the dynamics of the dominance hypothesis, the relationship between stand structure and growth, and the relationship between structure and growth efficiency.
